Acro content and level
This retreat is for beginners and intermediate levels. You'll learn creative flows, washing machines, transitions, and other skills. It will be suitable for beginners and will provide numerous options for intermediates. If you already have some experience, you'll be able to develop and improve your acro practice further.
If you have never practiced acro before It's perfectly fine, but for your maximum enjoyment, we recommend taking at least one acro class before the retreat. It will provide a supportive and progressive environment to learn and take your first steps in acroyoga.
This retreat is community-focused, so no matter which skill you have, you'll enjoy good vibes, acro fun, and connections with people.
Embracing Nyepi
Nyepi is the traditional Balinese Hindu holiday of silence, introspection and meditation.
It marks the beginning of the Balinese New Year and locals honour this tradition by having 24hrs of enforced inactivity, limited use of lights and minimal noise.
As the whole of the island is effectively shut for 24hrs and you are not allowed to leave your residency, it is the perfect opportunity to retreat and bond with others.
During the retreat we like to pay our respects and honour this Balinese tradition.
For the Nyepi day, March 11th, we will have more restful, meditative and quiet activities, to find deeper more meaningful connections with ourselves and each other.
Acrospirit approach
AcroSpirit’s approach to the practice and teachings of Acroyoga goes far beyond the physical skills!
We see Acroyoga as a beautiful pathway to greater connection, communication, teamwork, trust, empathy, support, friendship and play.
Together we grow, learn and share this incredible practice with each other to reach new heights both figuratively and literally!
We strongly stand for unity, inclusiveness and empowering each other to rise together beyond our individual limits.
Through Acroyoga we become more than a community, we become a family.
At our events we implement the AcroSpirit Code of Conduct for the safety and clarity of all participants and teachers. See full details here

Your retreat hosts
Ksenia
has been living in Bali for 4 years and has been teaching acroyoga classes, retreats and workshops for the past 3 years. She loves introducing acro yoga into people's lives and seeing how they grow from the practice. Ksenia teaches with an emphasis on precision and safety. Her fun and friendly nature helps students feel comfortable and welcomed. She loves teaching smooth flows in new, exciting ways and keeps students inspired to improve.
Natalia and Joshua,
also known as @acro_nerds, are a couple who travel the world sharing themselves and the things they love. A big part of that is Acro and everything that comes along with it. Their practice includes (but is not limited to): nerding out over technique, hands free transitions, fancy foot work, spinny ballerina type things, pops, icarian, whips, handstands, consent & communication (they teach workshops about it), cuddle parties and anything that takes their interest.
Their acro philosophy is based on their intention to make acro an exercise in effortlessness. Whether it is flips, whips, pops or hands free transitions, they emphasize smooth execution and impeccable technique. What does all this mean? It means they want to make acro feel good and look easy.

I feel grateful to be a part of this. Thanks for organizing again. FAQ
Can I join this retreat if I’ve never done acro before?
This retreat event is suitable for a variety of levels of acroyogis, including beginners, it is recommended that you have at least tried acroyoga before, or have a small amount of experience so you will be able to get the most out of the retreat. But even if you are a complete beginner, there will be options and suitable progressions for you to enjoy.
Can I join this retreat on my own or do I need a partner?
Yes, you can join this retreat on your own, the majority of students that join this event join alone. One of the special aspects of our retreat events is the connections and friendships you will make and form, and new friends you will play acro with. If you already have a partner then you will be able to work more dedicated with them whilst still interacting and practicing with others too.
Do I need to join every class/activity during the retreat?
No, the retreat schedule is designed to be fun filled and with a variety of enjoyable activities, and also with rest and chill time. However if you wish to skip activities, rest more, or want to go at your own pace during the retreat that is of course perfectly fine.
What acro content will be taught during the retreat?
On our retreats we will typically teach a unique and custom acro L-base flow comprising of a variety of skills and moves, there will be options up and down in difficulty to suit more beginners and more intermediate levels. We do not teach advanced acro skills during our retreats, but focus more on fun, connection and refining L-base acro techniques.
What can I expect during Nyepi and what facilities will be working during Nyepi day?
Nyepi day is a holy day of silence in all of Bali, the entire island shuts down for 24hours and an enforced curfew is put in place, meaning that nobody is allowed to leave their houses/hotels, and noise and light should be kept to a minimum. During the retreat we will give respect to the traditions of the Nyepi day with more quiet and reflective activities, such as morning meditation, and in the evening light use will be kept minimal, however electricity will still be working and wifi/mobile data should also be available. It is actually a very beautiful tradition to be a part of and witness, and what we centre this retreat experience around.
